About us:
Angeschimmelt Youth Crew is a DIY-collective from Darmstadt. We regularly promote Punk, Hardcore and Crust shows at the Oetinger Villa, a subcultural center. We spend our free time putting up shows regularly and our main goal is to do this without any commercial interests. Our motivation is to offer guests the chance to visit a concert for a fair price, as well to help bands (on tour) looking for a place to play. We do what we do because we love it. We do it for the bands and we do it for our guests, but definitely not to make money. Now and then we gain a few Euros, if so it will be donated to the Oetinger Villa to keep it alive as a place for subcultural activities and left wing politics.
We think Punkrock and Hardcore are deeply connected to a certain political mindset. Therefore we do not tolerate any fascist, sexist, racist, anti-semite or homophobe way of thinking at our shows as well concerning bands as guests.
It’s important to us that everybody has a good time while being at our shows. Feel responsible for others and do not make others feel uncomfortable because of your behavior. This also means that smoking is not tolerated at all in the whole building.
